Sichuan province's Mianyang city said it will rebuild the middle school which was demolished in 2011, Shandong Commercial reported, citing information from the local government.
The school was donated by the government of Hong Kong Special Administrative Region in 2008 after an 8.0-magnitude earthquake shook Sichuan. The government of Hong Kong donated HK$4 million to the school, according to the report. The newspaper also said that the school was removed because the land was sold to a luxury commercial real estate developer.
